On January 29, 2025, the federal directive to pause federal grants and loans was withdrawn. While related court cases are ongoing, there’s no impact to the WIC Program at this time.

Colorado WIC remains open for business. Please continue using your benefits, going to your appointments, and accessing services as usual. Updates will be provided if anything changes.

Recent news about a freeze on federal grant and loan programs has raised questions about its potential impact to the WIC Program. This afternoon (January 28, 2025), a Federal judge temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s freeze on federal grants and loans.

While we await official guidance, please rest assured that, as of now operations remain unchanged. Appointments should continue as scheduled, and benefits can be used without interruption. Updates will be posted as soon as they are available.
